Image Details:

The bright core of the Milky Way captured as a mosaic across 8 panels during the only clear night of OTSP in 2023. Green airglow is also visible on the left, and possibly red on the right, though this could be a small amount of light pollution from the nearby town of Kenton which was just behind the ridge.

EXPOSURES:

  • 64 x 30” at ISO 3200 (32m total)
