The Lacerta Nebula (Sharpless 126)
Image Details:
This is an area near Cygnus, meaning it is higher overhead during late Summer for the Northern hemisphere. Sharpless 126 itself is only the area of red glowing Hydrogen in the upper third of the shot with the rest of the field of view being filled with Dark Nebula. I have wanted to capture this region for a couple years now since framing it in this manner makes it appear like a flower. This was also first light of my new tandem 135mm lens setup, meaning I was able to capture a given amount of shots in just over half the time using a 3d-printed lens clamp able to hold two 135mm lenses side-by-side.
